Preview of Jail Weddings w/ Moris Tepper

LA-based band Jail Weddings take the ’60s soul revival sound to a whole ‘nother level — a darker, much more dangerous-sounding level. Lead singer/guitarist/songwriter Gabriel Hart has amassed an altogether saucy-sounding 10-piece band featuring violin, sax, and a bevy of lovely, besequined backing singers. His Costello-meets-Orbison voice quivers through songs that seamlessly blend the sounds of teen doo-wop and lurching swamp punk.
